About LENs
Landscape Enterprise Networks (LENs) brings organisations together to co-fund and implement regenerative agriculture and nature-based solutions to drive landscape resilience.
Since 2021, we have delivered more than €30m from organisations like Nestlé, Diageo and West Northamptonshire Council to 430+ farmers, to implement practices like cover crops, minimum tillage and habitat restoration.
We aim to increase soil health, water quality & conservation, and biodiversity, as well as mitigate climate change. In 2025 alone, LENs farmers reduced and removed 96,000 tonnes of CO₂e (carbon dioxide equivalent). Beyond environmental outcomes, we believe LENs will play a crucial role in raw material supply, de-risking supply chains and supporting livelihoods.

- For innovation, to reduce the risk of trying something new
LENs is active in 12 regions with more in development: East of England, Yorkshire, Leven (Scotland), West Wales, Tweed (Scottish/English borders) Western Hungary, two regions of Northern Italy, three regions of Western Poland and Australia (pilot). Our aim is to regenerate the landscapes we all depend on.
Role Overview
We're seeking an experienced project manager to deliver our flagship LENs programme across Poland, Hungary and Italy. The role manages national delivery and ensures that trades are successful and delivering against targets in regenerative agriculture and nature-based solutions.
Responsibilities
- Be the key point of contact with in-country LENs Operators, working closely with them, managing and building the relationships.
- Ensuring that LENs Operators are up-to-date and confident to deliver the LENs model.
- Be the key contact for national level Impact Partners, supporting them and ensuring LENs delivers against their objectives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with supply chain actors, landscape schemes and farmer representatives.
- Support proposal writing for and onboarding of new Impact Partners.
- Manage delivery of LENs in the EU in line with the Delivery Plan.
- Manage delivery-related subcontractors and their performance in line with scope of work.
- Manage the farmer application process, project proposal review and measures funding allocations, in coordination with the in-country LENs Operators.
- Support farmers to understand the MRV process.
- Carry out verification of delivery sampling on farmer measures
- Liaise with the MRV team to support data collection, including input to the LENs Platform.
- Quality assure funder and farmer impact reports.
- Track and document farm innovation funded by LENs
- Ensure farmer input data to LENs is accurate and sufficient
- Maintain awareness of similar landscape schemes in each region
- Stay up to date with land-related policy that could impact the delivery of LENs (e.g. government farming support).
- Proactively engage with local and national government on opportunities for alignment between LENs and policy.
- Seek relevant grant funding opportunities.
- Represent LENs at public meetings and forums, to advance knowledge, collaboration and support.
- Lead and coordinate national LENs events with support from in-country partners.

Requirements
You'll be based in the UK, Hungary or Poland and preferably be a Hungarian or Polish speaker.
You will have excellent experience in either agriculture, land management or nature-based solutions and:
- Excellent project management skills.
- Good knowledge of EU agriculture/environment policy contexts and able to navigate them.
- Excellent networking skills, able to form and develop relationships with contacts from private sector businesses, government agencies, public bodies and the farming sector.
- Excellent communication skills, showing attention to detail. Able to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner.
- An organised and systematic approach to work.
- At least four year’s experience working in the natural capital, agricultural or ecosystem services sector.
- Excellent budget management experience.
- A working knowledge of EU agriculture sectors - production, supply chains, policy, etc.
- Excellent Microsoft Excel skills.
- A clear and concise writing style, excellent verbal communication and the ability to present complex information in a clear way.
- Good client relationship management skills and confidence.
- On the ground experience of land management/farming in EU
- Experience running multi-stakeholder workshops and meetings.
