QLM is partnering with a leading European group to identify their European Project Manager to support their next phase of exciting growth.
This is a pivotal executive leadership role, working in direct partnership with the CEO and UK Executive Team to lead strategic transformation, business improvement organisational performance and operational delivery across the European business.
The Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced business leader who combines strategic thinking with a highly hands-on approach to project delivery. Someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is comfortable managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously and has the credibility to influence senior leaders while ensuring projects are delivered successfully.
As the extension of the CEO, you will provide independent, objective leadership across a diverse portfolio of strategic initiatives. You will bring clarity where there is complexity, create alignment across functions and ensure the Executive Team has a single, accurate analysis and reporting to support effective decision-making.
You will be equally comfortable shaping long-term strategy, resolving operational challenges, leading critical business initiatives and stepping into situations that require decisive leadership. This role demands someone who leads from the front, removes barriers, drives accountability and delivers results.
Regular travel across Europe will be required in line with business priorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with the CEO and UK Executive Team to define and execute strategic priorities.
- Lead multiple complex business transformation programmes simultaneously across the European business.
- Translate strategic objectives into structured delivery plans with clear milestones, governance and measurable business outcomes.
- Take a highly hands-on approach to programme delivery, ensuring initiatives maintain momentum and deliver tangible value.
- Establish robust programme governance, performance reporting and executive dashboards.
- Provide transparent, objective reporting, ensuring leadership has a clear and accurate understanding of programme performance, risks and opportunities.
- Hold senior stakeholders and programme teams accountable for agreed commitments, milestones and delivery.
- Drive pace, execution and accountability across multiple workstreams and business functions.
- Anticipate issues early, remove barriers and ensure programmes remain on track.
- Lead the business response to critical issues, programme risks and periods of organisational change, bringing structure, clarity and confidence during challenging situations.
- Support organisational transformation through effective change management and stakeholder engagement.
- Build strong relationships with customers, suppliers and key business partners, representing OSI Group with professionalism and credibility.
- Develop a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration and high performance across the organisation.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
