Job Title: Project Manager - Exhibitions, Visitor Experience & Fit-Out

Location: Birmingham, UK

Salary: £45,000-£50,000 DOE

Job Type: 1 year FTC, Full-Time

Job Ref: 40966

We're working with a well-established creative production business that's looking for an experienced Project Manager to join the team on a 12-month fixed-term contract, delivering a diverse range of projects across exhibitions, museums, experiential environments and bespoke interior fit-outs.

This is an end-to-end project management role, taking ownership from initial client brief through design development, production and fabrication, right through to onsite installation and handover. You'll work closely with clients, designers, workshop teams, contractors and suppliers to ensure every project is delivered on time, within budget and to an exceptional standard.

Whether your background is in exhibition stands, museum fit-outs, themed attractions, immersive environments or experiential marketing, we're keen to speak with people who understand complex build projects and enjoy seeing them come to life.

What you'll be doing

  • Managing projects from concept through to installation, handover and, where required, dismantling.
  • Acting as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Coordinating designers, production teams, workshop staff, suppliers and contractors.
  • Producing and managing project programmes, budgets and schedules.
  • Liaising with venues, consultants and external stakeholders to secure approvals and ensure compliance.
  • Overseeing fabrication, bespoke joinery, graphics, AV, lighting and installation activities.
  • Managing logistics, procurement and supplier performance.
  • Leading onsite installations and resolving challenges in a fast-paced environment.
  • Monitoring commercial performance, managing project variations and ensuring projects remain profitable.
  • Identifying risks early and implementing practical solutions to maintain programme.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
