Project Manager
Do you want to lead important projects that deliver meaningful results for the organisation? Then this job is a great opportunity. We are looking for a Project Manager to plan and deliver projects that support business growth, transformation and continuous improvement.
Dechra is a collaborative and forward-thinking organisation where effective project delivery is important to continued growth and development. Working with colleagues across the business, you will ensure that projects are well planned, effectively governed and delivered in line with agreed objectives.
What will you do?
As Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing projects from initiation through to completion. You will work closely with project sponsors, senior stakeholders, subject matter experts and delivery teams to define objectives, establish plans and ensure that project outcomes meet business needs.
- Coordinate project activities
- Manage timelines, budgets, dependencies, risks and issues
- Provide clear progress updates throughout the project lifecycle
- Create a structured environment in which project teams can collaborate effectively and deliver high-quality results

Your responsibilities will include defining project scope, objectives, deliverables, milestones and success measures. You will prepare and maintain project plans, resource plans, RAID logs, status reports and other project documentation. You will ensure that roles and responsibilities are clear and that project governance is applied consistently.
- Lead project meetings, workshops and planning sessions
- Manage communication with stakeholders
- Provide regular reporting to project sponsors and escalate risks or decisions where appropriate
- Monitor project performance against schedule, budget, scope and quality requirements
- Support change management, implementation and transition activities
Who are you?
You are an experienced Project Manager who combines a structured approach with strong communication and stakeholder management skills. You are comfortable managing multiple priorities and can bring clarity, focus and momentum to complex projects. In addition, you recognise yourself in the profile below:
- Successfully completed a relevant degree or equivalent professional qualification
- Significant experience in project management, programme delivery, business transformation or a related role
- Successfully managed projects from initiation through to implementation and closure
- Experience developing project plans, budgets, resource plans, risk registers, issue logs and progress reports
- Familiar with recognised project management methodologies and tools. Experience with Agile, Waterfall, hybrid delivery or continuous improvement approaches is advantageous
- Experience managing project risks, issues, dependencies, scope changes and competing priorities
- An excellent communicator who can build relationships, influence stakeholders and facilitate effective meetings and workshops
- Organised, pragmatic and able to make sound decisions in a changing environment
- Confident using project management, collaboration and reporting tools
- Excellent command of the English language, both verbally and in writing
