I’m working with a dynamic, highly respected interior fit-out specialist based in Bedfordshire that delivers high-impact commercial projects right across the UK. Known for their agility and exceptional quality, they have built a stellar reputation within the retail, hospitality, and leisure sectors with a particularly strong pipeline of fast-paced, high-profile pub refurbishments and fit-outs.
To keep pace with their expanding workload and strong client demand, they are seeking an experienced, high-energy Project Manager to take the reins on multiple concurrent schemes nationwide. The Role
You’ll be responsible for:
- Managing the complete delivery lifecycle of multiple retail, leisure, and pub fit-out/refurbishment projects simultaneously, valued up to £2m.
- Driving fast-track programmes with typical turnaround times of 6 to 12 weeks, ensuring sharp execution from mobilization through to practical completion.
- Conducting regular weekly site visits across the UK to inspect progress, maintain standards, and solve operational challenges on the ground.
- Overseeing site management teams, direct labour, and specialist subcontractors to keep schemes on schedule and within budget.
- Acting as the primary liaison for clients, architects, and external stakeholders, delivering clear communication and maintaining trust throughout.
- Managing commercial performance alongside the surveying team, controlling variations, valuations, and cost forecasts.
- Enforcing strict health, safety, quality, and compliance standards across all live operational sites.
- Leading smooth project handovers, snag-free completions, and post-project reviews to secure repeat business.

What We’re Looking For
Ideally, you’ll have a proven track record as a Project Manager within fast-track fit-out and refurbishment, with specific experience across retail, leisure, or pub environments. You must be comfortable managing multiple short-cycle, rapid-turnaround schemes at once and possess the flexibility required for UK-wide site travel.
