The Company
Our client is a well-established East Midlands regional contractor with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality construction projects. Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of secured work, they are looking to appoint an experienced Construction Project Manager to join their delivery team.
The Role
Reporting to the Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of construction projects from pre-construction through to completion. You will oversee all aspects of project performance, ensuring schemes are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the highest quality standards.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Project Manager seeking to work on a varied portfolio of projects, we’re looking for someone who is willing to travel and lodge away.

- Lead construction projects through all phases of delivery.
- Develop and manage project programmes, resources and budgets.
- Coordinate site teams, subcontractors, consultants and suppliers.
- Ensure projects are delivered in accordance with client expectations, contractual requirements and company standards.
- Monitor progress, identify risks and implement effective mitigation strategies.
- Manage project reporting and chair progress meetings with stakeholders.
- Maintain strong client relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, environmental and quality standards.
- Support successful project handover and completion.
Requirements
- Degree/HNC/HND in Construction Management, Building Studies or a related discipline.
- SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid certifications.
- Membership of CIOB, APM or similar professional body.
- Proven experience operating as a Project Manager within a main contractor environment.
- Experience delivering commercial, industrial, healthcare, education, residential or public sector projects up to the value of £20m
- Strong programme management and organisational skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Commercial awareness with an understanding of construction contracts and project finances.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and lead project teams effectively.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
