The Role

We’re now seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead our construction and refurbishment projects, from concept to completion, ensuring they’re delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards.

The Works

As Project Manager, you’ll oversee new-build and refurbishment projects across Scotland, valued at £2m+. You’ll work closely with directors, external design teams, and contractors to create hospitality and accommodation spaces that embody the Buzzworks brand.

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Leading projects from feasibility through all stages to completion
  • Overseeing budgets and ensuring financial targets are achieved
  • Managing procurement, tendering, and contract administration
  • Preparing and managing project programmes, schedules, and reporting
  • Delivering clear communication and reporting progress to Directors
  • Ensuring compliance with planning, building regulations, licensing, H&S, and sustainability standards
  • Driving collaboration across internal and external teams, fostering a “one team” approach
  • Chairing project meetings, leading site inspections, resolving disputes, and fulfilling client duties

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience managing hospitality, leisure, or accommodation projects valued at £2m+
  • Strong track record of project delivery from feasibility to handover (10+ years preferred)
  • Excellent knowledge of construction processes, procurement, and regulations
  • Skilled communicator and stakeholder manager
  • Ability to balance creative design ambitions with commercial and operational realities
  • Organised, detail-focused, and proactive in problem-solving
  • Flexible to travel across Scotland with presence at HQ and project sites

Desirable

  • Background in hospitality or accommodation projects
  • Strong appreciation of interior design and customer experience
  • Formal project management or construction qualification (RICS, CIOB, Prince2 or equivalent)
