Project Manager
We're looking for a hands-on Project Manager to lead finance-led projects and system integrations across the business. This is a delivery-focused role — you won't just oversee work, you'll do it yourself, working directly with Sales, Operations, IT, and other teams to get things done.
You'll take ownership of a live portfolio of projects, including integrating HubSpot and NetSuite with the Sales team, completing finance integration for recently acquired businesses following the end of financial due diligence, implementing our R&D tax credit process, preparing inter-company contracts to support G-Cloud contracting, amongst others.
Key Responsibilities:
Current Projects
- HubSpot–NetSuite Integration: Lead the project to integrate HubSpot and NetSuite, working closely with the Sales team to make sure data flows correctly between CRM and finance systems, and that reporting is accurate and usable by both teams.
- M&A Finance Due Diligence & Integration: Pick up financial due diligence work at the point it reaches completion and lead the end-to-end integration that follows for newly acquired businesses — including sales, operations, and finance.
- R&D Tax Credit: Implement an ongoing process for identifying and capturing R&D tax credit activity and prepare and submit R&D tax credit claims for the last two tax years, working with external advisors as needed.
- G-Cloud Contracting / Inter-Company Transfer Pricing: Work with the Sales team and external legal support to prepare inter-company contracts that support G-Cloud contracting.
- Timesheet (Dovico) Tracking: Responsibility for wider administration of Dovico timesheet reporting system, including monthly reporting on customer projects and working with operational team leads to maintain system structure and processes.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Act as the primary point of contact and driving force for all allocated projects.
- Build strong working relationships with colleagues in Sales, Operations, IT, and senior leadership.
- Communicate progress, findings, and risks clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Facilitate working sessions and decision meetings, ensuring outcomes are documented and acted upon.
- Manage expectations robustly, maintaining momentum without compromising on quality.
Skills and Experience
Essential
- 3-5 years of experience delivering finance or systems projects end-to-end.
- Experience with CRM–ERP integrations, ideally HubSpot–NetSuite specifically.
- Exposure to M&A finance integration — picking up from due diligence findings and leading the practical integration of a newly acquired business's finance systems and processes, including payroll.
- Knowledge of R&D tax credit claims — able to implement a process for capturing qualifying activity and prepare a claim, working with external advisors where needed.
- Comfortable working with external legal support to prepare inter-company contracts — e.g. for G-Cloud contracting or transfer pricing purposes.
- Able to work across teams to gather information and to prepare the resulting documents and spreadsheets yourself, not just coordinate others to do it.
- Proven ability to deliver cross-functional projects end-to-end, from scoping through to completion.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical detail into clear, actionable updates for both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including Sales.
- A self-starter who takes ownership, drives momentum, and holds themselves accountable for quality and delivery.

Desirable
- NetSuite experience — hands-on familiarity with NetSuite as a finance system, including integrations and reporting.
- Direct experience working with HubSpot as a CRM system.
- Formal project management qualification (e.g. PRINCE2, AgilePM) — desirable but not required.
- Experience using AI tools to support project delivery or reporting.
The Person We're Looking For:
You are someone who thrives in the detail and gets things done personally, not just through others.
- You are commercially astute and energised by getting things done. When a project needs scoping, you scope it. When systems need reconciling, you reconcile them. You do not wait for direction — you identify what needs doing and do it.
- You are accountable. You own your work properly — tracking every dependency, chasing every action, and standing behind the outcome. But you are also collaborative and understand that sustainable delivery depends on bringing people with you.
- You are comfortable with ambiguity, able to define scope where others see noise, and confident enough to push back when expectations are unclear or unrealistic.
