Do you love finance project tracking? We need your expert skills and guidance for our small nonprofit event team
100% Remote Working to manage project for Think Tenacity 5th Anniversary.
What difference will you make?
This role supports Think Tenacity Events and Free Therapy Team to continue providing FREE counselling and mental health support for our members from the Black community.
This volunteering role will help our nonprofit organisation develop free entry events for 2026 to drive future success for the organisation to educate and raise awareness of Black mental health issues in the community.
What are we looking for?
Skills / Experience
- minimum three years in a similar Project Financial Management role.
- Experience maintaining financial trackers and project records.
- Ability to monitor income and expenditure accurately.
- Experience comparing budgets against actual expenditure.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- high organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
- effective interpersonal skills
- high written and verbal communication
- ability to stay calm working under pressure
- flexible and solution focussed when managing deadlines
- must have proactive approach to share new ideas
- self-motivated to work Independently and remotely but can adapt to be a team player
- ability to use WhatsApp for event team communications

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager with Finance Tracking Skills to take responsibility for the financial budget monitoring of Think Tenacity Academy Project Anniversary Event for 100 people

This volunteer role has a strong financial focus. You will ensure that project income and expenditure are accurately recorded, budgets are monitored against actual spending. Reporting to the Programme Delivery Manager and CEO,

- A key responsibility will be maintaining accurate Excel spreadsheets covering project budgets, income, event sponsorship and project expenditure.
- Identify potential budget overspends or financial shortfalls at an early stage.
- From initiation through to completion establish a clear financial tracking process for the Think Tenacity Academy Anniversary Event Project for 100 people
- Track actual project expenditure and monitor project budgets against planned activities, milestones and deliverables.
- Ensure project teams and stakeholders understand the financial parameters within which projects must operate.
- Escalate significant budget risks to the Programme Delivery Manager and CEO.
- Work with Project Managers to keep projects financially on track.
You are a highly deadline orientated person with min 3 years experience from either private or public sector.
