About The Role
Our client is seeking a skilled Project Manager to join their team in Edinburgh, focusing on initiatives within the financial services sector. This role is critical for managing projects that enhance regulatory compliance, improve client services, and implement new financial technologies. You will collaborate with various departments, including compliance, IT, and business operations, to ensure successful project delivery. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial markets and regulatory landscapes, coupled with robust project management capabilities, contributing to a culture of integrity and client-centricity.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of projects within the financial services domain.
- Manage project scope, budgets, timelines, and resources, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Liaise with key stakeholders, including regulatory bodies, business units, and technology teams.
- Ensure all projects adhere to stringent compliance and regulatory requirements.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, proactively addressing issues to ensure smooth project progression.
- Provide regular, clear, and concise project status updates and reports to senior management.

Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, preferably within the financial services industry.
- Proven experience managing projects related to regulatory compliance, IT systems, or business process improvements.
- Strong understanding of financial products, services, and the regulatory environment.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall) and tools.
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently in a demanding environment.
