Job Title: Project Manager - Finance Transformation

A global organisation is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of large-scale finance transformation programmes within a cloud-based environment.

About the Role

This position is ideal for a delivery-focused professional with a strong background in financial systems, ERP transformation, and cloud technologies.

Contract Details

This will be an initial contract until the end of the year with the opportunity for extensions.

Working Arrangements

This position will be worked 100% remotely with the occasional visit to the client’s head office in the City of London, UK.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the delivery of finance transformation projects from initiation through to completion.
  • Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, risks, and dependencies.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including Finance, IT, Architecture, Data, and third-party vendors.
  • Drive cloud-based transformation initiatives, ensuring successful migration and implementation.
  • Facilitate steering committees, project status meetings, and stakeholder communications.
  • Support organisational change management and user adoption activities.
  • Identify delivery risks and implement effective mitigation strategies.

  • Proven experience delivering large-scale Finance Transformation programmes.
  • Strong Project Management experience within enterprise environments.
  • Experience delivering projects involving cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
  • Strong understanding of finance systems including ERP platforms such as SAP Finance, Oracle Finance, or Microsoft Dynamics.
  • Experience managing cloud migration or cloud transformation programmes.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage senior business and technology leaders.
  • Strong knowledge of project governance, RAID management, budgeting, and reporting.
  • Experience working within Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies.
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple workstreams across complex transformation programmes.
  • Experience working on ERP implementation or finance modernisation programmes.
  • Knowledge of financial reporting, General Ledger, and finance operations.
