You’ll be based at Schneider Electric’s R&D Innovation Site in Lund — a dynamic hub for cutting-edge development in energy management and automation. What you’ll do

  • Lead program and project execution for our fire and security software offering
  • Deliver with Precision: Ensure timely, high-quality delivery with high sense of ownership and accountability for the product portfolio.
  • Ownership of full life-cycle delivery for complex, multi-disciplinary engineering programs (requirements definition → architecture → development → testing → industrialization → launch).
  • Collaborate Globally: Work across functions in a large, global matrix organization, adapting to time zones as needed. Foster a positive collaborative working environment.
  • Being the driving force, highlight problems with the right nuance and simultaneously be mindful of our culture to put people first.
  • Having full execution responsibility to meet budget, time plan and quality objectives and communicate efficiently to stakeholders
  • Engage with state-of-the-art Fire detection and Access control technologies—including Fire Detection & Access Control softwares and integrations with 3rd party systems —while providing project leadership in a rapidly evolving market that delivers significant positive environmental impact.

Essential for the role

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in project/ program management
  • Preference for Advanced Degree and/or Project Management certificate
  • Experience leading the end-to-end delivery of new software platforms, from requirements definition and architecture alignment through development, deployment, and commercial release.
  • Demonstrated experience managing the continuous development and enhancement of existing software platforms, including regular release cycles, feature expansions, performance improvements, and technology upgrades.
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional teams including Software Engineering, Product Management, QA, UX, DevOps, Cybersecurity, and System Integration teams.
  • (Preferred) Demonstrated experience working with Fire Detection & Fire Alarm systems, Access Control, Video Management Systems (VMS), integrations with Building Management System (BMS), third-party APIs and SDKs, related security technologies and applicable standards.
  • (Preferred) Experience working within Fire & Life Safety, Access Control, Physical Security, Smart Buildings, Building Automation, or related regulated industries is highly preferred.
  • Experience working with cross functional globally distributed teams, including R&D, QA, supply chain, and manufacturing partners across multiple time zones. Demonstrated ability to drive alignment, facilitate technical decision-making, and manage cross-cultural communication.
  • You demonstrate excellent people skills with high level of self-awareness
  • Structure as a personal strength to build plans, takes decisions based on time aspects, create clarity and provide right amount of structure to make the team successful.

Location and Language requirements

  • Based in or willing to relocating to Lund, Sweden.
  • Language skills: Fluent advanced English (Swedish is a plus)
