About The Opportunity
Nuclear Power Programmes has been formed with the vision to support positive change and help shape the future of Nuclear Power. Operational throughout the UK and across continental Europe, we are seeking to expand our team on a variety of nuclear projects, which range in technologies and that find themselves at different stages of their development. In both client-facing and internal roles, we are delivering major programme and project management capabilities throughout the project lifecycle. We are driving to deliver safe, high-quality, and on-time solutions by thinking innovatively and working collaboratively.
Reporting to the Head of EPR Fleet Collaboration, the Project Manager supports collaboration between Hinkley Point C (HPC) and Sizewell C (SZC), ensuring effective knowledge sharing, delivery of the HPC-SZC Collaboration Agreement, and identification of efficiencies, lessons learned, and best practices across the UK EPR fleet.
Responsibilities:
- Support implementation and governance of the HPC-SZC Collaboration Agreement.
- Facilitate sharing of data, knowledge, lessons learned, and best practices between projects.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings, efficiency improvements, and asset utilization across the fleet.
- Contribute to legacy learning and replication strategies to improve safety, schedule, and cost performance.
- Develop, monitor, and report collaboration KPIs.
- Track risks, issues, actions, dependencies, and performance metrics.
- Ensure collaboration activities comply with contractual, regulatory, and governance requirements.
- Build effective relationships across HPC, SZC, and corporate functions.
- Act as a key link between projects, promoting collaboration and organizational learning.
- Support internal and external communications, reporting, and governance activities.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and knowledge management practices.
- Capture and embed lessons learned to improve future project outcomes.
- Support operational efficiency and programme effectiveness.
Here's What You'll Need
- Degree qualified or equivalent experience.
- Experience delivering projects within complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
- Proven track record managing cross-functional teams and competing priorities.
- Experience with project planning, governance, reporting, risk, and issue management.
- Experience supporting senior leadership decision-making.
- Experience in infrastructure, construction, engineering, energy, or nuclear sectors beneficial.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver outcomes through collaboration and influence.
- Strong understanding of project management principles, governance, controls, and reporting.
- Knowledge of risk, issue, change, and dependency management.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and influencing skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, planning, and organizational abilities.
- Ability to prepare high-quality reports, presentations, and senior leadership briefings.
