Our client is an established workplace furniture business, providing furniture and interior solutions for commercial office environments. They work closely with clients, designers, and fit-out contractors to create functional, flexible workplaces.
The Role
Our client is looking for a Furniture Project Manager to oversee commercial furniture projects from initial brief and order coordination through to installation, snagging, and final handover.
You will work closely with clients, suppliers, and installation teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
You will be an organised, hands-on Project Manager who takes ownership of delivery and builds strong relationships with clients and project teams. You will have an eye for detail and the ability to keep projects moving through to a successful handover.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage multiple furniture projects, overseeing programmes, budgets, and delivery plans.
- Act as the main point of contact for clients throughout project delivery.
- Review furniture specifications, layouts, quantities, and finishes with sales and design teams before orders are placed.
- Coordinate procurement, manufacturing lead times, shipping, storage, and deliveries.
- Undertake site surveys to assess dimensions, access, and installation requirements.
- Liaise with principal contractors and fit-out teams to align installations with the wider construction programme.
- Plan and oversee installation teams, ensuring clear instructions and suitable resources are in place.
- Monitor project costs, manage variations, and address risks affecting delivery.
- Coordinate installation plans and relevant health and safety documentation.
- Resolve delivery discrepancies, damaged items, and installation issues.
- Complete quality inspections, manage snagging, and secure client sign-off.
- Oversee final handover and any outstanding aftercare requirements.
