Your mission
About the role
The Project Manager will have experience in a similar role within a composite/engineering background and be responsible for leading and delivering multiple complex composite manufacturing projects, acting as the central point of coordination between customers and internal teams.
You will manage the complete project lifecycle, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, to specification and within agreed commercial objectives. This role requires a highly organised and proactive individual who can effectively manage customer expectations while coordinating activities across procurement, engineering, manufacturing and quality teams.
Project Leadership
- Lead and manage customer projects from initial handover through to successful delivery.
- Act as the primary point of contact for assigned projects, ensuring clear communication between customers and internal stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain project plans, key milestones, resource requirements and delivery schedules, alongside regulatory requirements.
- Lead project reviews, report on KPIs, communicate progress, risks and opportunities to internal and external stakeholders.
- Identify and manage project risks, issues and dependencies, ensuring effective mitigation plans are implemented.
- Drive accountability across cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives and support the continued improvement of the company’s project management processes.
- Ensure project documentation is accurate, up to date and maintained throughout the product lifecycle.

Engineering & Manufacturing Coordination
- Work closely with engineering, manufacturing, production and quality teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Coordinate New Product Introduction activities, ensuring readiness for manufacture.
- Support design reviews, process development and production launch activities.
- Manage engineering changes and ensure impact on cost, timing, quality and delivery are understood and communicated.
- Ensure customer requirements, specifications and expectations are clearly translated into manufacturing deliverables.
- Support problem-solving activities and drive timely resolution of technical and operational challenges.
Customer & Commercial Management
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with customers, acting as a trusted partner throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage customer expectations regarding scope, delivery milestones, technical requirements and project changes.
- Support commercial performance by monitoring project costs, resource requirements and delivery commitments.
- Identify and communicate opportunities, risks and changes that may impact project objectives.
- Support customer reviews, programme meetings and key project milestone activities.
