Project Manager – Maximo MAS Upgrade | Oracle Cloud Migration | Google Workspace

Location: London, United Kingdom
Work Mode: Hybrid (2 Days a week in Office)
Experience: Minimum 7+ years
Employment Type: Contract – Minimum 9 Months
Client: UK Based (TBC)
Vertical: Energy & Utilities

Role Overview

Owision is seeking an experienced, high-calibre Project Manager to lead two interconnected, business-critical digital transformation initiatives for our client: the upgrade of an enterprise asset management system to IBM Maximo Application Suite (MAS), and the migration and upgrade of the Oracle database/applications environment to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). This role requires a blend of deep technical understanding of cloud architectures, a strong grasp of asset management workflows, Google Workspace, and exceptional stakeholder management skills to align IT leadership with business operations.

Key Responsibilities

Project Leadership & Governance

  • Establish project governance, define project charters, KPIs, RAC matrices, and detailed milestones for both the Maximo MAS upgrade and Oracle Cloud migration tracks.
  • Manage a multi-disciplinary project team consisting of internal IT staff, functional business experts, and external systems integrators (SIs).
  • Provide regular, transparent progress reports, maintain risk registers (RAID logs), and handle meticulous budget tracking.
  • Define and execute a robust communication plan to identify business dependencies, ensuring business engagement, training, and stakeholder management are actively owned and delivered.

Maximo MAS Upgrade Track

  • Lead the transition strategy from legacy Maximo (7.6) to Maximo Application Suite (MAS), ensuring zero disruption to critical business operations.
  • Oversee the configuration and deployment of core MAS components (Manage, Monitor, Predict, Health) based on business requirements.
  • Manage the rationalisation, cleaning, and secure migration of legacy asset, inventory, and work order data.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
