Protec Fire and Security Group is one of the UK's leading fire, security and life safety specialists and is proud to be part of the Bosch Group, combining the strength and stability of a global organisation with the agility and innovation of a specialist market leader.
Due to continued growth and investment within our Fire Suppression Division, we are seeking an experienced and commercially focused Gas Suppression Project Manager to lead our Gas Suppression business across London and the South East.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious and technically capable individual to take ownership of our high profile gas suppression projects and beyond. You will play in a key role in delivering complex life safety solutions across various environments.

You will be responsible for the successful delivery of gas suppression installation contracts. Working closely with customers, engineers, designers, suppliers and sub-contractors you will ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on time and to the highest standards of quality.
This is a hands on management role requiring strong technical expertise, commercial awareness and exceptional customer relationship skills.
You will be trusted to drive projects forward, identify opportunities, overcome challenges and ensure the company continues to deliver industry-leading solutions for some of the UK's most prestigious projects.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Take full responsibility for projects, ensuring profitable and efficient delivery
- Lead project planning, programming and resource coordination to achieve contract milestones
- Build strong relationships with clients, engineers and contractors.
- Conduct regular project reviews, site visits and client meetings
- Ensure the highest standards of health, safety, quality and compliance are maintained
- Manage suppliers and sub-contractors to ensure timely delivery and performance
- Review, negotiate and manage contract variations and change control processes
- Produce progress reports, technical documentation and project handover packs
- Identify project risks and commercial opportunities at an early stage
- Support business growth through exceptional delivery and industry expertise
- Provide technical leadership and support on gas suppression solutions and standards

ABOUT YOU
We're looking for a confident and proactive individual who thrives on responsibility and enjoys working in a fast paced environment
You will possess :-
- Proven experience in managing gas suppression projects
- Strong knowledge of gaseous fire suppression systems
- Excellent commercial and financial awareness
- Strong communication and client facing skills
- Proactive and solution focused approach
- Knowledge of relevant fire protection standards and regulations
- UK driving licence
