About Us
Our first shop opened in 1981 in Penzance, selling durable clothing to artists and mariners. Today, we’re a modern, data-enabled omnichannel retailer with a growing international presence. We blend heritage with innovation, designing timely clothing made from responsibly sourced fabrics, and using technology to improve how we operate, grow and serve customers.
As we scale in the UK and internationally (primarily through third-party partnerships), we’re investing in data, systems and digital capability to support our people and our growth. It’s an exciting time to join us!
Role Overview
As a Project Manager, you’ll support the successful delivery of technology projects that improve business operations, customer experience, and digital capability. Reporting to a Senior Project Manager, you will manage day-to-day project execution, coordinate cross-functional teams, and ensure milestones are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Please note that this is a part-time, permanent contract working 4 days per week. This role can either be based in Cornwall or remotely within the UK, with occasional travel to our Cornwall head offices.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinating the planning and delivery of defined technology projects (e.g. POS upgrades, infrastructure rollouts).
- Working closely with the Senior Project Manager to track progress, manage risks, and keep projects aligned with business goals.
- Managing project documentation, schedules, RAID logs, and status reporting.
- Supporting stakeholder engagement across business functions, IT, stores, and suppliers.
- Liaising with vendors and partners to ensure deliverables meet requirements and timelines.
- Monitoring budgets and assisting in financial tracking and reporting.
- Ensuring testing, training, and deployment activities are delivered effectively.
- Helping manage change activities to support business readiness and adoption.
- Supporting continuous improvement of project delivery processes and tools.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
