About The Role
Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead crucial healthcare technology projects in the Bristol area. This role is vital for implementing innovative solutions that improve patient care, streamline clinical workflows, and enhance healthcare system efficiency. You will collaborate closely with clinical staff, IT professionals, and external vendors to ensure the successful deployment of new technologies. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of the healthcare landscape and a proven ability to manage complex technology projects from conception to completion, contributing to a mission-driven organization dedicated to advancing healthcare.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the planning, execution, and successful delivery of healthcare technology projects.
- Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, and resources, ensuring alignment with healthcare objectives.
- Collaborate with clinical teams, IT departments, and external partners to define project requirements and solutions.
- Ensure all projects comply with relevant healthcare regulations, such as HIPAA and GDPR.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, proactively addressing issues that could impact patient care or system performance.
- Provide clear and regular project status updates and reports to stakeholders and senior leadership.

Requirements
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in project management, with a specialization in healthcare IT or related fields.
- Demonstrated success in managing projects involving electronic health records (EHR), medical devices, or healthcare software.
- Strong understanding of the healthcare industry, its challenges, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.
- Relevant certifications such as PMP or CPHIMS are highly desirable.
