Overview

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to support the delivery of strategic Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) initiatives for pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device clients. This role combines project leadership with strategic consultation, helping clients develop evidence generation plans that support market access, payer engagement, and health technology assessment (HTA) requirements across the product lifecycle.

The successful candidate will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to design and deliver high-quality HEOR strategies, evidence generation plans, value communication materials, and scientific deliverables while ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of HEOR strategy and evidence generation projects, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Partner with clients to develop evidence solutions that support market access, reimbursement, and value demonstration strategies for pharmaceutical products.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through strategic consultation, methodological guidance, and scientific leadership.
  • Contribute to the development of HEOR strategy materials, value dossiers, HTA submissions, post-submission support, and scientific advice documentation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide strategic input on evidence generation and HEOR initiatives.
  • Develop presentations, reports, and client-facing deliverables that communicate complex scientific concepts clearly and effectively.
  • Support the development of internal standards, processes, and best practices related to HEOR strategy and evidence generation.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members, reviewing work and supporting professional development.
  • Lead or participate in internal and external project meetings, ensuring effective communication among stakeholders.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement solutions to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Contribute to scientific publications, conference abstracts, posters, and presentations for national and international meetings.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
