Project Manager - Higher Education Advisory Service 0.5 FTE
Location: Hackney
Pay Range: £29,800 - £34,400 per annum (pro-rata, inclusive of Central London Allowance)
Hours and weeks: 17.5 hours, Monday-Wednesday
Contract Type: 3 years Fixed-Term
Contract Term: Term time runs from Mid-August to Mid-July.

The Role
New City College is seeking an ambitious and innovative Project Manager – Higher Education & Careers Advisory Service (SEND) to lead the development of an exciting new service designed to support learners with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) as they progress into Higher Education and future careers.
This is a unique opportunity to design, develop and operationalise a new provision that will have a lasting impact on learner outcomes. Working with colleagues across the College and external partners, you will shape and implement effective pathways that help learners successfully transition into higher education, employment and further opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development and implementation of a new Higher Education and Careers Advisory Service for learners with SEND.
- Deliver project objectives and key milestones within agreed timescales.
- Conduct research and make recommendations to develop effective service delivery models.
- Build strong relationships with internal teams, Higher Education providers and external stakeholders.
- Coordinate colleagues and resources to ensure successful project delivery.
- Monitor progress, identify risks and implement solutions to keep the project on track.
- Produce clear reports and updates for key stakeholders.
- Contribute to the College's commitment to safeguarding, equality, diversity and inclusion.
Who You Are
- Degree-level qualification, teaching qualification, or another qualification relevant to the role.
- Experience working with learners with SEND within an educational setting.
- Knowledge of the Higher Education sector.
- Experience conducting research and making service delivery recommendations.
- Experience designing, developing and implementing new projects or services.
- Proven project management experience
