Project Manager

As a Project Manager, you will join the Programme Management team, leading the delivery of advanced aviation training solutions for international customers.
Working at the heart of a dynamic, global operation, you will manage multiple concurrent projects across the full delivery lifecycle, from initial concept and design through to certification, delivery, and in-service modifications.
You will collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams, manufacturing, supply chain partners, and international customers to ensure projects are delivered in line with schedule, budget, quality, and regulatory requirements.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Project Manager who enjoys working in technically complex environments and delivering high-value projects involving hardware and software integration.
You will play a key role in delivering mission-critical aviation training solutions that support pilot training and aviation safety worldwide.
What You'll Be Doing
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of projects, ensuring alignment with schedule, cost, quality, and regulatory requirements.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, including new simulator builds and complex engineering upgrades.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams across engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and external partners.
- Define and manage project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with key stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including work breakdown structures (WBS), schedules, budgets, and risk registers.
- Monitor project performance, identify potential issues, and proactively implement corrective actions.
- Manage project budgets, providing strong financial oversight, cost control, and forecasting.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks while recognising opportunities for improvement.
- Ensure effective configuration management and control of project changes.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
- Provide clear, accurate, and timely project reporting to senior leadership.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project delivery and operational performance.

What We're Looking For
Essential Skills & Experience
- Proven experience delivering complex, high-value projects involving hardware and software integration.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies, such as PRINCE2, APM, PMI, or MSP.
- Experience working within aviation, aerospace, defence, or other regulated industries.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, multi-project environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to resolving challenges.
- Excellent attention to detail combined with strategic awareness.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with senior stakeholders and customers.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent professional experience.
- Recognised Project Management certification, such as APM, PMI, PRINCE2, or MSP.

International Travel
International travel to customer sites and partner facilities will be required as part of this role.
