About the Role
Our client is a fast-growing wireless technology start-up. They design IP that makes wireless networks faster and more efficient, boosting throughput and cutting latency while using less power and fewer hardware resources. Their work is increasingly focused on the exciting world of Satellite Communications, and innovation sits at the heart of everything they do.
This is a Project Manager role where you’ll have real influence on the delivery of cutting-edge hardware and software IP. You’ll manage one or more major customer or internal development projects, working closely with engineering teams and leadership to deliver on commitments.
As the business grows, you’ll also help shape and improve its project management processes, so this suits someone who enjoys building as well as delivering.

- Tracking project finances and providing financial updates
- Supporting change control and scope management
- Engaging with customers and stakeholders, including status reporting on calls
- Reviewing supplier SOWs (statements of work) to ensure they meet project objectives
- Contributing ideas on PM tools and processes

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
