Job title: Project Manager

Job Type: Permanent

Start date: ASAP

Salary Range: Depending on experience

Benefits Package: Package available

Location: Stone, Staffordshire

Full Site Based/Hybrid/Remote Working: Hybrid working available

Hours of work: Up to 40 hours per week

Role information:

  • Our client has been a leader in advanced system integration for decades; optimising efficiency & delivering performance on a massive scale. But with continuous innovation at the heart of their business.
  • A Project Manager is required to manage a series of projects to deliver upgrades/modifications to existing Transmission substation protection and control systems.

Qualifications/Experience Required:

  • Experience and knowledge working to NEC3/4 contracts.
  • Management role responsible for various projects, could be from the range of £50K to £2M, from inception through to delivery within demanding timescales.
  • Ensuring that the project is delivered to timescale, specification, budget, and customer satisfaction.
  • Overall financial responsibility for the projects.
  • Demonstrable project management experience within an engineering industry, preferably Power Transmission industry or similar regulated background.
  • Demonstrable experience planning and scheduling work activities using Microsoft Project.
  • Must be able to effectively communicate with all internal and external stakeholders.
  • Must be commercially astute & be able to identify early commercial and technical risks/issues and find resolutions.
  • Must have a demonstrable track record of achieving project timescales, margins, customer satisfaction, and quality.
  • Experience of subcontractor management.
  • Strong leadership skills, including team management experience.
