Job title: Project Manager

Hours of work: Up to 40 hours per week
Role information:
- Our client has been a leader in advanced system integration for decades; optimising efficiency & delivering performance on a massive scale. But with continuous innovation at the heart of their business.
- A Project Manager is required to manage a series of projects to deliver upgrades/modifications to existing Transmission substation protection and control systems.
Qualifications/Experience Required:
- Experience and knowledge working to NEC3/4 contracts.
- Management role responsible for various projects, could be from the range of £50K to £2M, from inception through to delivery within demanding timescales.
- Ensuring that the project is delivered to timescale, specification, budget, and customer satisfaction.
- Overall financial responsibility for the projects.
- Demonstrable project management experience within an engineering industry, preferably Power Transmission industry or similar regulated background.
- Demonstrable experience planning and scheduling work activities using Microsoft Project.
- Must be able to effectively communicate with all internal and external stakeholders.
- Must be commercially astute & be able to identify early commercial and technical risks/issues and find resolutions.
- Must have a demonstrable track record of achieving project timescales, margins, customer satisfaction, and quality.
- Experience of subcontractor management.
- Strong leadership skills, including team management experience.
