Project Manager - IDEA - Independent DMC & Endpoint Adjudication

About the Role
As a Project Manager IDEA (Independent DMC and Endpoint Adjudication) at ICON, you will oversee and manage innovative projects related to data science, emerging technologies, and new applications.
What You Will Do
The IDEA team provides independent clinical event review and data monitoring services for clinical trials. They work with expert physician committees to objectively determine whether key patient events meet study criteria and support Data Monitoring Committees that oversee patient safety and trial integrity.
You will manage day-to-day Independent DMC (Data Monitoring Committees) and Endpoint Adjudication activities, supporting your team to deliver quality outcomes.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Leading and managing IDEA projects, including developing project plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure successful execution and delivery.
- Collaborating with teams across innovation, data science, and technology to define project objectives, requirements, and deliverables.
- Monitoring project progress, identifying potential risks and issues, and implementing solutions to keep projects on track and within scope.
- Facilitating communication between project teams and stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, and ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
- Supporting the integration of emerging technologies and innovative solutions, ensuring that projects contribute to advancing organizational objectives.

Required Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in innovation management, data science, project management, or a related field is preferred, with relevant experience in managing innovation or technology-driven projects.
- Endpoint adjudication experience preferred.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach to working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies, with a background in data management or technology systems being advantageous.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and adaptable, with a commitment to driving innovation and achieving project success.
