As we expand our portfolio of digitalisation projects, we are seeking a skilled and motivated Project Manager to join our team in Leatherhead.
The Role
Project Leadership & Delivery
- Lead full lifecycle delivery of digital and IT projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical requirements.
- Coordinate multi-disciplinary teams across engineering, IT, OT, and cybersecurity, ensuring clarity of roles, responsibilities, and deliverables.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and execution strategies using Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies as appropriate.
Technical Integration & Systems Thinking
- Oversee integration of digital platforms with existing OT/IT systems, including SCADA, historians, DCS, cloud platforms, APIs, and data pipelines.
- Work closely with architects and SMEs to ensure solutions are technically feasible, secure, and aligned with enterprise architecture.
- Understand data models, integration flows, and technical dependencies to ensure smooth delivery and deployment.
Stakeholder & Vendor Management
- Build strong relationships with client stakeholders at all levels, from technical specialists to operational leaders.
- Manage communication, expectations, risks, and dependencies across global and cross-disciplinary teams.
- Lead vendor and integrator coordination, ensuring contractual and technical obligations are met.

Scope, Budget & Quality Control
- Establish clear project scope and maintain change control discipline throughout delivery.
- Manage project budgets, financial forecasts, cloud licensing models, and cost reporting.
- Define and run quality assurance processes, including system testing, cybersecurity validation, and documentation compliance.
Risk, Compliance & Decision-Making
- Identify and mitigate technical, operational, cybersecurity, and delivery risks.
- Ensure digital solutions adhere to relevant industry standards and data governance requirements.
- Make sound decisions in environments with technical uncertainty, variable data quality, and evolving requirements.
Deployment, Change Management & Adoption
- Plan and coordinate deployment into operational environments, ensuring minimal disruption and strong end-user acceptance.
- Drive training, communication, support processes, and operational handover.
- Ensure digital tools deliver measurable value and are adopted effectively by engineering and operations teams.
Skills & Experience
Essential Qualifications
- 4+ years’ project management experience, ideally in IT, digitalisation or industrial technology.
- Experience with managing multiple projects at the same time.
- Proven ability to manage complex technical projects with multiple stakeholders and integration points.
- Strong understanding of digital ecosystems: cloud platforms, data architectures, APIs, cybersecurity principles, and industrial control system interfaces.
- Experience working with or alongside engineering and operations teams in industrial sectors (Oil & Gas preferred).
- Demonstrated ability to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards.
- Fluency in English and French, able to communicate confidently with French-speaking clients and stakeholders.
- Must already have the right to work in the UK. Please note that Eigen is unable to provide visa sponsorship for this role.
- Able and willing to undertake regular short business trips to France (approximately once a month, a few days at a time).

- Experience with managing projects using Jira.
- Experience in Oil & Gas, energy, heavy industry, or other high-reliability sectors.
- Familiarity with platforms such as Azure, AWS, AVEVA, Hexagon, or industrial data solutions.
