The Company

Our client is a well-established and growing food manufacturing business with operations across multiple sites. Driven by a passion for quality, innovation and customer satisfaction, the business is investing heavily in new product development and innovation processes to support future growth. This newly created role offers the opportunity to shape and lead innovation across the entire organisation.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Innovation Manager to lead and embed a structured innovation programme across multiple manufacturing sites. Reporting into the senior leadership team, you will take ownership of the innovation agenda, developing a robust stage-gate process that takes ideas from concept through to launch and performance review.

Working cross-functionally with operations, procurement, marketing and site teams, you will identify opportunities for product innovation, evaluate commercial viability and ensure successful implementation across the business. This role offers significant autonomy and the chance to make a real impact on business growth and product development strategy.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
