Description

Product Sense

Balance complex technical architecture with overarching business goals and user needs.

Stakeholder Alignment

Break down complex issues to seamlessly bridge the gap between technical and non-technical teams.

Collaborative Leadership

Drive teamwork and ensure everyone understands how their individual contributions impact the final product.

Requirements

  • A self-starting and self-motivated leader, driving large, concurrent customer-engagement projects from end to end, managing scope, risk, timelines, and resource allocation. A true co-owner of the product with a steadfast focus on the end-user experience.
  • Partnering with Engineering, Product, Design, Loc, QA, Publishing, Editorial, IS&T, and Business Operations to ensure we deliver the right solutions that elevate overall quality, not just hit schedule milestones.
  • Taking an active role in refining our internal tools and improving how features are executed across the Services organisation.
  • Required to be in Client's London Office a minimum of 3 days per week (likely location Battersea, South London-TBC)

Job responsibilities

  • Experience leading software development projects across the full product lifecycle—from initial ideation and requirements gathering to post-launch analysis—with a proven track record of delivering customer-engagement initiatives.
  • Demonstrates a deep sense of product ownership, holding yourself and the team accountable not just for project delivery, but for the overall success and quality of the product.
  • Proven ability to look beyond the project plan to understand the “why” behind features, advocating for the best possible product outcome and user experience.
  • Adept at identifying risks, developing mitigation strategies, and facilitating resolutions.
  • Strong facilitation skills (requirements sessions, design meetings, progress and status meetings).
  • High level of communication and presentation skills (written and verbal) across all levels of an organization.
  • Experience working within a globally distributed team.
  • Strong technical proficiency.
  • Fluency in using AI agents in your day-to-day development workflow.
