We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our team and take responsibility for the successful delivery of social housing contracts across the east coast of Scotland.
This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially aware and highly organised Project Manager who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and is confident managing multiple projects, teams, subcontractors and client relationships.
The Role
As Project Manager, you will take overall responsibility for the planning, coordination and delivery of social housing projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.
You will work closely with local authorities, housing associations, residents, internal teams and subcontractors to ensure projects are delivered with minimal disruption and a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day delivery of social housing contracts across the east coast of Scotland.
- Plan and programme works to ensure projects are delivered on time and within agreed budgets.
- Coordinate internal teams, site operatives and subcontractors.
- Act as the main point of contact for clients, housing associations and other key stakeholders.
- Monitor project costs, budgets, variations and commercial performance.
- Ensure all works comply with health & safety, quality and contractual requirements.
- Manage project risks and resolve issues quickly and effectively.
- Monitor progress against agreed programmes and provide regular project reporting.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, residents and stakeholders.
- Ensure customer complaints and concerns are dealt with professionally and promptly.
- Carry out regular site visits across the east coast of Scotland.
- Ensure appropriate documentation, records and project information are maintained.
- Support the mobilisation of new contracts and contribute to continuous improvement across existing contracts.

About You
We are looking for someone who can demonstrate:
- Proven experience as a Project Manager, ideally within social housing, construction, refurbishment, maintenance or building services.
- Experience managing multiple projects or contracts simultaneously.
- Strong commercial and financial awareness.
- Excellent planning, organisational and communication skills.
- Experience managing subcontractors and operational teams.
- A strong understanding of health & safety and quality requirements.
- Confidence dealing with clients, local authorities, housing associations and residents.
- The ability to manage challenging situations and make effective decisions under pressure.
- A practical, hands-on approach to project management.
- Strong IT and reporting skills.
- A full UK driving licence, with the ability to travel across the east coast of Scotland.
