Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to oversee the successful delivery of complex, high-risk projects, ranging from single-site to global deployments. You will ensure all projects meet strict time, cost, and quality standards by utilizing industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leads planning and delivery of projects to time, cost, and quality measures, taking account of dependencies and resource requirements.
  • Owns, develops, and proactively monitors project plans.
  • Consolidates and documents the fundamental components of projects (scope, schedule, resource requirements, budgets, risks, opportunities, issues, and quality requirements).
  • Tightly controls project scope whilst meeting and managing customers broader expectations within the commercial model.
  • Responsible for provision and control of project documentation as a primary reference point for tracking and audit purposes.
  • Monitors project budget, forecast and actual costs, providing early warning of any deviation.
  • Works with Senior Commercial Accountants to ensure timely Revenue booking, accurate cost forecasting and tracking across the project.
  • Develops, implements, and updates project resource allocation plans (RBAs), working with Professional Services to confirm staff availability and scheduling.
  • Engages and manages resources from all necessary Nasstar departments, customer, and third parties on a matrix management basis.
  • Establishes and maintains governance arrangements for the delivery of projects, defining clear roles, responsibilities, and accountabilities, which align with organisational practice.
  • Provides input into project health check reviews as required.
  • Works with Delivery Support to suggest improvement areas for the project delivery methodology.
  • Identifies, logs, and monitors project risks (threats and opportunities), planning and implementing responses to them and responding to other issues that affect projects. Reports and escalates risks as required to appropriate level.
  • Produces highlight reports and presentations to internal and external customers on project status to aid successful delivery of project.
  • Develops, maintains, and applies quality management processes for project activities and outputs.
  • Secures the provision of goods and services needed for projects from internal and/or external providers, monitoring compliance and managing variances.
  • Works with Service Transition to ensure the timely transition of project outputs into live services.
  • Manages changes to project scope, timeline, budget in a controlled, transparent manner with agreement of customer and relevant stakeholders.
  • Able to clearly set direction and align expectations across all stakeholder cohorts.
  • Manages internal and external stakeholders, and taking account of their levels of influence and particular interests.

  • Minimum of 3 years’ Project Management Experience.
  • Proven experience of delivering multiple concurrent & complex projects in a fast-paced MSP environment.
  • Knowledge of and experience in delivering Microsoft technologies, solutions and services.
  • Knowledge of using techniques for planning, monitoring and governance including risks, issues, assumptions, dependencies, and decisions management.
  • A track record of managing delivery of large and complex change programmes/projects.
  • Proven ability in stakeholder management including C-level executives.
