PROJECT MANAGER - SWITCHGEAR & POWER DISTRIBUTION
SALARY: £50,000 - £65,000
LOCATION: LEEDS - SITE BASED 7836
My clients don’t just manufacture switchgear - they engineer bespoke power distribution solutions trusted across the UK. With a 50-year track record, we blend deep-rooted expertise with innovative thinking to deliver mission critical infrastructure for our clients.
They are expanding and we’re looking for a Project Engineer who’s ready to take full ownership of complex projects from concept to completion.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Take the reins on full lifecycle project delivery:
- Lead projects cradle-to-grave—from order intake through to final invoice
- Design bespoke assemblies and create electrical schematics
- Specify, source and order materials with precision
- Oversee manufacturing, from build supervision to snag-free delivery
- Own client relationships
- Manage change requests, witness testing (FAT/SAT), and installations

What You’ll Need
We’re looking for someone who thrives on ownership and technical challenge:
- Strong project management skills and attention to detail
- Background in electrical engineering, ideally in power distribution
- Comfortable with Inventor, AutoCAD, and technical drawings
- Confident communicator who can manage stakeholders and suppliers
- HNC or higher in Electrical Engineering (or related discipline)
