PROJECT MANAGER

Liverpool Area | Hybrid | UK Travel | Circa £60,000 + Car Allowance + Mileage

ABOUT THE BUSINESS

Our client is a rapidly growing technology business that partners with manufacturers across the UK to improve operational performance through innovative digital solutions.

This isn't a traditional IT project management role. Instead, it's an opportunity for someone with a manufacturing background to lead customer implementations and help operational teams successfully adopt new technology.

THE ROLE

You'll take ownership of customer implementation projects from contract handover through to successful go-live and operational adoption. Working closely with internal technical specialists, you'll become the primary point of contact throughout the delivery journey, ensuring projects remain on track while building trusted relationships with customers.

This role is focused on delivering operational change, not just technical deployment. Success is measured by the quality of delivery, customer confidence, and how effectively solutions become embedded into day-to-day operations.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

  • Managing end-to-end customer implementation projects from kick-off through to successful go-live
  • Running structured onboarding and discovery sessions to understand customer requirements, operational processes and project objectives
  • Managing project plans, timelines, milestones, risks and customer communications throughout delivery
  • Acting as the primary point of contact for customers, building strong working relationships and managing expectations throughout the implementation journey
  • Working closely with internal technical and field-based teams to coordinate successful deployments
  • Leading regular project governance meetings, providing progress updates and proactively resolving issues before they impact delivery
  • Supporting customers with training and change management to ensure solutions are successfully adopted within their operation
  • Using your manufacturing knowledge to understand production challenges and tailor implementations around operational requirements
  • Ensuring projects are fully validated before sign-off and smoothly transitioned into Business as Usual
  • Identifying opportunities to improve implementation processes and enhance the overall customer experience

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
