TGRC is partnering with a leading European construction and engineering business with a growing presence in the UK.

As the business continues to expand its portfolio of utility-scale renewable energy projects across the UK, they are looking to appoint an experienced Project Manager to take responsibility for the successful delivery of large-scale solar PV projects.

The Role

As Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing the delivery of utility-scale solar PV projects from construction through to completion, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.

You will work closely with internal teams, EPC contractors, subcontractors, consultants and other key stakeholders to ensure effective project execution and successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the delivery of large-scale solar PV projects across the UK.
  • Manage EPC contractors, subcontractors and key project stakeholders.
  • Take ownership of project programmes, budgets, risks, quality and HSE performance.
  • Monitor project progress against agreed milestones, identifying and resolving issues where required.
  • Coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction and commercial teams throughout project delivery.
  • Review and manage contractor performance, ensuring contractual and project requirements are met.
  • Oversee project documentation, reporting, change control and risk management.
  • Lead regular project meetings and provide clear progress updates to senior management.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor construction progress and project performance.
  • Support the resolution of technical, commercial and construction-related issues.
  • Ensure projects are delivered in accordance with relevant UK legislation, standards and company requirements.
  • Drive a strong culture of safety, quality and continuous improvement across project teams.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
