Our client is a well-established and highly respected specialist joinery contractor delivering high-quality joinery and fit-out projects across Scotland. Due to continued growth and a strong order book, they are looking to recruit an experienced Project Manager to join their team on a permanent basis at their headquarters in Cumbernauld.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and organised Project Manager to join a successful business with an outstanding reputation for delivering bespoke joinery and interior fit-out projects to the highest standards.
The Role
As Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing multiple joinery and fit-out projects from initial handover through to completion. Working closely with clients, site teams, subcontractors, and the commercial department, you will ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Managing projects from pre-construction through to completion.
- Planning and coordinating labour, materials, and subcontractors.
- Monitoring project programmes to ensure deadlines are achieved.
- Managing project budgets alongside the commercial team.
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Attending site meetings and progress reviews.
- Identifying and mitigating project risks.
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation and company procedures.
- Liaising with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal departments to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Producing regular progress reports for senior management.
- Resolving project issues efficiently while maintaining programme and quality standards.
About You
The Successful Candidate Will Have
- Previous experience as a Project Manager within the construction, joinery, or fit-out sector.
- Strong knowledge of project delivery and construction processes.
- Excellent organisational and planning skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities.
- Good commercial awareness.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- A full UK driving licence is essential.
