Project Manager

Department: Business Development

Employment Type: Permanent

Location: Gamston Airport, Retford

Reporting To: Gracious Phillips

Description

DEA is a full-service aircraft operator with extensive ISR flight capability backed up by a skilled in-house aviation engineering team. This powerful combination puts us at the forefront of our industry, both in the air and on the ground. It also ensures we can deploy and support quickly and efficiently, even in the world’s most challenging environments.

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Project Manager to join our growing team.

The Project Manager is a hands-on, execution-focused role to help drive the successful delivery of DEA's complex and high-value projects. Ideally bringing previous engineering project experience, this role bridges the gap between technical teams and project delivery.

Reporting to the Head of Strategic Programmes, the Project Manager will support the pre-contract boundary and ensure project success through a strong focus on customer outcomes. Turning customer needs and complex problems into actionable, effective tasks for teams to execute.

This role requires a highly adaptable professional with a strong appetite for learning. The Project Manager will help remove blockers and execute tasks to improve overall project outcomes.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
