Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and delivery-focused Project Manager to lead key initiatives within a large transformation programme. The role is responsible for end-to-end project delivery, ensuring scope, schedule, cost, quality, risk, and stakeholder expectations are effectively managed in a safety-critical industry environment.
Contract – 3 to 6 months
Location – Waterside (UB7 0GB)
Hybrid – 2-3 days onsite
Pay – attractive daily rate (Inside IR35)
Project Leadership & Delivery
- Lead projects from initiation through implementation and closure.
- Develop and maintain project plans, milestones, and delivery roadmaps.
- Coordinate resources, suppliers, and delivery teams.
- Drive delivery against agreed timelines and objectives.

Planning & Controls
- Manage project RAID and change control.
- Monitor dependencies and critical path activities.
- Work with PMO to align reporting and governance.
Commercial Management
- Support supplier and commercial management.
Governance & Assurance
- Prepare status reports and governance packs.
- Ensure compliance with organisational and regulatory requirements.
- Support delivery reviews and assurance activities.
Stakeholder Management
- Build relationships across business, operational, and technical teams.
- Facilitate workshops and governance meetings.
- Manage communications and stakeholder expectations.
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience delivering projects as part of large transformation initiatives.
- Project management qualification such as PRINCE2, PMP, or APM desirable.
- Experience of enterprise system delivery/transformation initiatives desirable.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in regulated or safety-critical environments preferred.
