Kleboe Jardine and FlexMedical Solutions Job Opportunity
Kleboe Jardine are delighted to be partnering with FlexMedical Solutions, a growing medical device development and manufacturing organisation based in Livingston, to hire an experienced Project Manager to join their team.
This is a key role within the business, taking ownership of customer programmes from initial contract through design and development and into manufacture.
Working with both UK and international customers, you'll act as a key point of contact while bringing together multidisciplinary teams across science, engineering, quality, supply chain and operations to keep complex development programmes moving forward.
It's a great opportunity for someone who enjoys the combination of technical product development, customer interaction and project delivery, and wants a role where they'll have genuine ownership and visibility across the business.
What you'll be doing
You'll take responsibility for one or more customer programmes, ensuring technical, commercial and contractual deliverables are achieved.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Experience fit
Your summer at the bank plus your econometrics coursework map directly to the day-one responsibilities on this scheme — client modelling, market briefings, and deal support.
Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
This will include:
- Managing project plans, timelines, resources and risks
- Coordinating cross-functional teams
- Maintaining strong customer relationships
- Managing change requests and project costs
- Providing clear programme updates to both customers and the FMS leadership team
You'll also have commercial responsibility for your programmes, including budgets/P&L, quotations and cost management.
What we're looking for
We're keen to speak with experienced Project or Programme Managers who have worked within a regulated product development environment. Medical device or diagnostics experience would be particularly relevant, although we're open to candidates from other highly regulated sectors where you've managed products through design, development and manufacture.
You'll ideally bring:
- Experience managing complex technical development programmes
- Medical device, diagnostics or other regulated industry experience
- Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and influencing across different functions
- Strong customer/client-facing experience
- An understanding of product development and manufacturing environments
- Commercial awareness, including budgets, costs and ideally P&L responsibility
- Excellent communication, organisation and stakeholder-management skills
- A scientific or engineering background, or equivalent relevant industry experience

Experience of ISO 13485, design controls, validation or Design for Manufacture would be particularly useful. Previous POC IVD, biosensor or related diagnostics experience would be an added bonus rather than an essential requirement.
The opportunity
FMS is continuing to grow its development capability, with an increasing pipeline of customer programmes across medical devices and diagnostics.
This role offers the chance to join at an interesting point in that growth, take ownership of significant customer programmes and work closely with senior leadership while helping shape how projects are delivered as the organisation grows.
“It took my CV and asked me questions relevant to understanding what kind of jobs to suggest for me. Suggestions were almost perfect. Jobs were exactly what I’ve been looking for.”
