Everyone has an idea of what a water company does. Here in Yorkshire, we make sure that over 5.4 million people living in the region and the millions of people who visit our region each year, can rely on our services, and have clean and safe drinking water on tap and that their wastewater is taken away. But for us, it’s so much more than this.

We look after communities, protect the environment, and plan to look after Yorkshire’s water, today, tomorrow 24/7, 365 days a year. We provide essential water and wastewater services to every corner of the Yorkshire region, and play a key role in the region’s health, wellbeing, and prosperity.

As Yorkshires second largest landowner, YW manages, maintains and upgrades a significant estate, undertaking a wide variety of projects each year to ensure that Yorkshire remains a wonderful place to live and work for all. These projects range from building and structural works to woodland/habitat conservation, to upgrading our amazing public access spaces and many more.

As a Project Manager within the Land & Property team, you will manage the delivery of a diverse portfolio of building, estate, environmental and infrastructure projects across the Yorkshire Water estate. You will be responsible for managing projects from concept through to completion, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the required quality standards. Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
