Project Manager – Logistics & Operations
Location: Wigston, Leicester
Salary: Up to £40,000 DOE
Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Working Pattern: Office-based
We’re recruiting for a fast-growing logistics business looking for a highly organised Project Manager or experienced Project Coordinator to join their team.
This is a varied, fast-paced role where you’ll take ownership of customer projects from initial instruction through to completion, coordinating logistics, resources, schedules and people to ensure everything runs smoothly and on time.
You’ll manage several live projects at once, working closely with customers and internal teams while dealing with changing priorities and resolving any issues along the way.
The Role
- Manage multiple customer projects from initial brief through to completion
- Plan schedules, deadlines and project requirements
- Coordinate transport, deliveries, resources and external teams
- Liaise directly with customers, suppliers and internal departments
- Monitor live projects and resolve problems or delays quickly
- Ensure materials and equipment arrive at the right place at the right time
- Keep customers updated throughout the project
- Maintain accurate project documentation and internal systems
- Manage changing priorities while keeping projects on track
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and service delivery

You'll need excellent communication and problem-solving skills, strong attention to detail and the confidence to take ownership and make decisions when plans change.
You must be confident using IT systems and Microsoft Office and able to pick up new systems quickly.
A full UK driving licence is essential.
