Salary: £43,000 per annum

Contract: Fixed Term Contract to June 2027, Full-time

Location: Hybrid, minimum 1 day/week in Rugby, Warwickshire

Closing date: Tuesday 18 August

We are delighted to be supporting the Air Ambulance Service to recruit a Project Manager - London Marathon (FTC). This is an exciting opportunity to lead one of the charity's most significant fundraising initiatives, delivering a high-profile programme that generates vital income, attracts new supporters, and strengthens long-term engagement.

As Project Manager, you will oversee the end-to-end delivery of the London Marathon programme, ensuring an exceptional participant experience while maximising fundraising income and long-term supporter value. Working collaboratively across Fundraising, Communications, Operations, and regional teams, you will manage project planning, supporter stewardship, participant recruitment, risk management, and programme evaluation. This role would suit an organised, proactive, and relationship-focused project manager who thrives on delivering successful projects and creating meaningful impact.

To be successful as Project Manager - London Marathon, you will need:

  • Proven experience managing complex projects from planning through to delivery and evaluation
  • Experience of delivering income-generating activities and achieving financial targets
  • Excellent organisational, planning, and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships across multiple teams
  • Experience using data and insight to improve performance and supporter engagement
