Project Manager (IT & Transformation) - Housing Organisation - London (Hybrid) - £50,500-£52,500

A respected housing organisation is hiring a Project Manager to join its IT & Transformation team, delivering a portfolio of change across technology, data and service operations. This is a hands-on role combining project delivery & business analysis, suited to someone who enjoys bringing structure, clarity and pace to complex programmes.

If you haven't operated in a 'Project Management' capacity but have the skills we are looking for, we would also love to hear from you!

Location: London (hybrid - 1 day per week)
Salary: £50,500–£52,500
Type: Permanent, full-time
Reporting to: Director of IT & Transformation
Line management: None (you’ll coordinate project resources and stakeholders)

The Role:

You’ll manage key projects using a structured project management approach, ensuring clear control of:

  • Scope, governance, RAID, dependencies and benefits
  • Change control and decision logging
  • Milestones, reporting and assurance across the project lifecycle
  • Budgets and supplier costs (monitoring, forecasting, escalating variances)
  • Requirements gathering and stakeholder engagement
  • Process mapping (current state / future state)
  • Options appraisal and supporting business cases
  • Translating business needs into clear deliverables and project plans

Project Portfolio (examples):

  • Compliance-related initiatives (shaping and implementing new controls/processes)
  • A major programme linked to repairs/service delivery and supplier/contract change
  • Standardising elements of the organisation’s contact centre, including tech and data improvements
  • Discovery and planning for a future asset-related system implementation

What we're looking for:

  • Experience delivering projects/workstreams with planning, governance and reporting
  • Confident ownership of RAID, change control, stakeholder management, and disciplined delivery
  • Experience with requirements gathering and process mapping, supporting business change
  • Ability to monitor and report project budgets and forecasts
  • Experience delivering technology implementations
  • Housing sector experience
