Crawford & Co Surveyors are looking for an organised, proactive Project Manager to take retrofit projects from initial instruction through to completion.
You'll be the central point of contact between project administrators, Retrofit Coordinators, Retrofit Assessors, surveyors, contractors, and installers — making sure everyone knows what's required and when, actions get followed up, and projects keep moving to agreed timescales.
You don't need to know the retrofit process from day one. We're looking for strong project management skills and a willingness to learn the technical and compliance side; full training and support are provided.
What You'll Do
- Manage and coordinate multiple projects at different stages, from instruction to completion
- Act as the key point of contact for clients, contractors, and stakeholders, keeping everyone informed and coordinating information between them
- Build and maintain project programmes and action lists
- Track progress against milestones and deadlines, and chase outstanding actions until they're closed
- Review project information to spot issues early, escalate where needed, and find practical solutions
- Manage changes, delays, and outstanding issues as they arise
- Keep project records and documentation accurate, organised, and readily available, supporting the team on compliance
- Organise meetings, calls, and project updates, and monitor the quality of works where required
- Report to management on progress, risks, and outstanding actions
- Upsell Crawford & Co services where opportunities arise

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
