Gleeson is delighted to be partnering with Business in the search for a Project Manager to join their team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced project professional to lead a portfolio of strategic initiatives within a growing engineering and manufacturing business. The role offers the opportunity to manage complex projects, engage with senior stakeholders, drive continuous improvement, and play a key role in supporting the organisation's ongoing growth and success.

Job Title: Project Manager

Salary: £55,000

Location: West Midlands

Duties

  • Lead and deliver multiple strategic projects simultaneously, ensuring objectives are achieved on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Define project plans, timelines, deliverables, and success measures in collaboration with key stakeholders.
  • Manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and resources, implementing effective mitigation plans where required.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal stakeholders, customers, and distribution partners.
  • Provide clear and concise project updates to senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, supporting the enhancement of project management and new product development processes.
  • Coordinate and influence cross-functional teams to achieve project goals and deliver successful business outcomes.
  • Facilitate effective decision-making and problem-solving to ensure projects remain on track and deliver value.
  • Ensure robust project governance and adherence to established best practices.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Experience in Project Management within an engineering, manufacturing, industrial, or technical environment.
  • Experience with Multiple / Large projects.
  • Excellent stakeholder management experience, building credibility and influencing individuals at all levels of an organisation.
  • Experience managing project budgets, resources, timelines, risks, and deliverables.
  • Experience with Continuous improvement Processes.
  • Project Management qualification such as PRINCE2, APM, Agile, etc.
