Your New Role
Based in Harlow, you will be joining a well-known manufacturing company which specialises in design and manufacture of a wide range of products used in the retail, FMCG, food, print, and more industries!
Offering a wide range of benefits and continuous long-term and short-term projects, this is an excellent time for an experienced manufacturing-based project manager to join the team!
The Project Manager will take ownership of customer projects from order receipt through to final shipment, ensuring all technical, production, planning, and logistical requirements are coordinated effectively. Working closely with Commercial, Engineering, Production, Planning, and Despatch teams, you will play a pivotal role in delivering projects on time, in full, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Manage customer projects from initial order receipt through to successful delivery.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including Customer Service, Production Planning, ERP Coordination, and Artwork departments.
- Prepare and manage job specifications, production schedules, delivery plans, and customer requirements.
- Ensure accurate ERP setup, manufacturing order creation, and production planning activities.
- Monitor project progress, ensuring deadlines, quality standards, and customer expectations are achieved.
- Act as a key point of contact between internal departments and customers.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across operational, planning, customer service, and ERP processes.

Skills & Experience Required
- Previous experience in a Project Management, Production Planning, Project Engineering, Operations, or Manufacturing Leadership role.
- A strong understanding of manufacturing processes and production workflows.
- Experience working with ERP/MRP systems and customer order management.
- The ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Background within packaging, print, engineering, FMCG, or similar manufacturing sectors.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, Kaizen, or Operational Excellence methodologies.
