Project Manager - Group Services Directorate

We are seeking an adaptable, structured, and insightful Project Manager to join our Group Services directorate on a 12-month fixed term contract to cover a period of maternity leave.

This role offers a genuine opportunity to shape a busy and varied portfolio supporting the RAD’s strategic objectives and transformation agenda. With a strong focus over the coming year on reviewing and improving how we work, we are looking for a project delivery professional who brings a strong business analysis and process-improvement mindset. You will lead discovery, map processes, gather requirements, and help define future ways of working across technology, operational efficiency, and organisational development initiatives.

Working alongside internal teams, international offices, and external suppliers, you will play a central role in embedding project management best practices and ensuring seamless transitions into business-as-usual operations.

We are open to discussing flexible working arrangements for the right candidate, including part-time hours or flexible scheduling, for this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Leadership: Manage end-to-end projects within agreed scope, time, cost, and quality parameters. Maintain full project documentation, establish governance (steering groups, boards), and lead lessons-learned reviews.
  • Process Review & Business Analysis: Lead process review initiatives by mapping current-state processes, identifying efficiencies, facilitating stakeholder workshops, and presenting evidence-based options appraisals to support decision-making.
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Change Management: Build strong relationships across departments, international offices, and external suppliers. Support change management activities (training, communications, readiness) and contribute to monthly staff communications to promote transparency.
  • Governance & Change Control: Support the Programme Manager in running the Change Control Board, assessing project-level change requests in line with policy.
  • Risk, Budget & Resource Management: Proactively manage project risks and issues, monitor budgets, and coordinate cross-departmental and international resources.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
