Project Manager – Transaction Banking Hub
A leading global bank is seeking a Project Manager to lead the onboarding process within their Transaction Banking Hub. This role offers the opportunity to deliver seamless onboarding for corporate clients, ensuring exceptional customer experiences while supporting strategic growth objectives.
Initial 12 month FTC
Central London City based offices
Your Role:
Working closely with Global Head of Transaction Banking, business development teams, and cross-functional departments, managing every detail of the onboarding journey, you will:
- Lead end-to-end onboarding processes for new corporate clients, ensuring smooth implementation and exceptional client experiences.
- Organise kickoff calls to set expectations, assess requirements, and develop tailored onboarding plans.
- Manage account setup, documentation lodging, product configuration, system requirements, training schedules, and deal closure milestones.
- Collaborate with compliance, legal, tax, sustainability, operations, and international support desks to ensure regulatory adherence and operational excellence.
- Track project timelines, risks, deliverables, and impacts while managing multiple onboarding projects simultaneously.
- Continuously improve processes by gathering feedback from cross-functional teams and maintaining up-to-date SOPs.
- Report progress regularly to stakeholders and ensure successful implementations across multiple functions and countries.

Your Profile:
- Proven experience managing complex implementation projects within transaction banking or financial services environments.
- Strong planning and prioritisation skills to handle multiple projects with meticulous attention to detail.
- Expertise in payments technology and liquidity solutions relevant to corporate banking clients.
- Familiarity with regulatory standards and audit requirements ensures compliance throughout the onboarding process.
- Excellent communication skills paired with stakeholder management expertise to build trust-based relationships.
- A proactive mindset focused on continuous improvement and driving positive change within cross-functional teams.
- Experience using systems like Microsoft Dynamics CRM is advantageous but not mandatory; willingness to learn new tools is highly valued.
