Project Manager / No.1 Site Manager Fit Out

📍 Corby, Northamptonshire

💰 £300 - £330 per day PAYE

🕒 7:30am - 4:30pm

📅 Start within 2 weeks

📆 Long-term contract until July 2027

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager / No.1 Site Manager to lead a major refurbishment and fit-out project in central Corby.

The project involves the transformation of a two-storey community building, including café facilities, breakout areas and communal spaces. The strip-out phase has already been completed, and the successful candidate will oversee the full internal fit-out package through to completion.

Responsibilities

  • Take full responsibility for the day-to-day management of the site as the No.1 on site.
  • Coordinate and manage subcontractors and trades.
  • Oversee internal fit-out works including M&E, drylining, ceilings, flooring, joinery and finishes.
  • Ensure work is delivered safely, on programme and to a high standard.
  • Manage site health & safety, quality control and site documentation.
  • Attend and lead site meetings.
  • Liaise with project stakeholders and provide regular progress updates.
  • Drive the project through to a successful handover.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Site Manager or Project Manager on refurbishment and fit-out projects.
  • Strong understanding of internal fit-out and M&E work.
  • SMSTS.
  • CSCS Card.
  • First Aid at Work.
  • Asbestos Awareness Certificate.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Ability to run a project independently and proactively.
