Project Manager (F&B and Hospitality Fit-Out)

Salary: £50,000 to £70,000 per annum

Location: London base, with extensive travel across the UK

Working pattern: Office Based

Software: Strong Excel (formulas and spreadsheet building)

Sector: Design-Build, retail, leisure, and hospitality interior fit-out

About the Studio

This is a growing, client-focused consultancy that lives and breathes retail, leisure, and hospitality fit-out. They deliver interior projects up and down the country, the kind of work where the finish matters as much as the deadline, and they have built a name on doing both properly.

It is a close-knit setup where you work directly with the founders rather than three layers away from them. That means real influence over how projects run, genuine ownership of your work, and a front-row seat as the business grows. If you like the idea of shaping something rather than slotting into a machine, this is that sort of place.

They take client relationships seriously, and they take delivery even more seriously. The people who thrive here are the ones who enjoy being trusted with the whole picture and holding themselves to a high standard without being asked.

About the Role

You will own the full project life cycle, from feasibility and early estimates right through to a finished, handed-over site. Expect multiple complex projects running at once, each with its own budget, programme, and cast of clients, contractors, and consultants to keep moving in the same direction.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

This is a senior, client-side role with real autonomy. You will lead client roll-outs across new stores and refurbishments, manage budgets and cost sign-off, and provide leadership and direction for the team. You will also be the calm, reliable voice keeping clients informed through accurate, timely reporting.

It is a good moment to join. The business is growing, the work is varied, and there is room for your role to grow with it. Fair warning: there is plenty of travel, because the sites are all over the UK and you will want to be on them.

Your days will look something like this

  • Lead the full project life cycle, from feasibility and risk analysis through to final delivery
  • Run feasibility studies on new sites, with detailed risk analysis and top-line estimates for clients
  • Manage all budgets, administration, and cost sign-off across your projects
  • Value engineer every element of the build without ever compromising on quality
  • Keep external consultants, including design and architecture, delivering on time and on budget
  • Own all programming, schedules, and delivery dates, and oversee health and safety compliance throughout
  • Manage third-party suppliers and subcontractors to make sure clients always get best value
  • Produce weekly client updates and briefs, and provide clear, relevant information across teams internally and externally
  • Provide leadership and direction for the Decon team, and build positive relationships with every professional services team the business works with
