Project Manager

The Project Manager is accountable for the successful delivery of customer-facing software implementation projects across Energy One’s UK and European portfolio. The role ensures projects are delivered to agreed scope, schedule, budget, quality, and customer outcomes whilst maintaining strong governance, commercial control, and stakeholder engagement.

Working across Energy One’s multi-product platform, the Project Manager will coordinate cross-functional teams spanning Product, Engineering, Support, Customer Success and customer organisations to ensure implementations are delivered predictably and professionally from mobilisation through go-live, hypercare and transition into business as usual support.

The successful candidate will play a key role in strengthening Energy One’s delivery capability, driving customer satisfaction, supporting commercial growth, and contributing to the continuous improvement of our delivery operating model.

Project Leadership & Delivery

  • Lead multiple concurrent customer implementation projects across Energy One’s software portfolio.
  • Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and success criteria.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, RAID logs, and delivery milestones.
  • Coordinate internal and customer resources to ensure successful project execution.
  • Manage project dependencies, risks and issues, ensuring timely resolution and escalation where required.
  • Drive projects through all delivery stages including initiation, planning, execution, testing, go-live and hypercare.

Delivery Governance & Control

  • Establish effective project governance, reporting and stakeholder communication frameworks.
  • Own project RAID management, action tracking, decision logs and dependency management.
  • Facilitate steering committees, project boards and executive-level status reviews where required.
  • Provide accurate project reporting, highlighting risks, mitigations, financial performance and delivery progress.
  • Ensure delivery transparency and promote proactive issue management across all stakeholders.

Commercial & Financial Management

  • Manage project budgets, forecasts and resource plans throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Monitor project profitability and identify potential commercial risks.
  • Own project change control processes, ensuring impacts to scope, budget, timeline and customer commitments are understood and approved.
  • Support revenue forecasting, invoicing milestones and financial reporting activities.
  • Partner closely with Finance, Sales and Delivery leadership to ensure commercially successful outcomes.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
