Project Manager (Operations / Business Transformation)

Bath (2 or 3 days per week in office)
Salary from £60,000 - £65,000 + package

We’re working with a purpose-led organisation on an exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to deliver a varied portfolio of operational & business transformation projects (Not IT / Technical projects).

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys taking projects from idea through to implementation, bringing people together and making sure change actually happens.

This is not an IT / Technical Project Manager role

The role

You’ll work across the organisation and with external partners to deliver projects that improve services, increase efficiency and create better outcomes for customers.

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Leading projects from initiation through to delivery and review
  • Building and managing project plans, budgets, milestones and resources
  • Managing risks, issues, dependencies and competing priorities
  • Coordinating internal teams, stakeholders and external suppliers
  • Facilitating workshops and project meetings
  • Providing clear updates and reporting to senior stakeholders
  • Supporting procurement, contracts and budget management
  • Capturing lessons learned and driving continuous improvement

About you

You’ll be an experienced Project Manager with a strong track record of delivering projects in complex, changing environments with a Business Transformation / Operations focus.

We are not looking for Technical / IT Project Managers for this role

You’ll bring:

  • Strong project planning and delivery experience
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • The ability to manage budgets, risks and multiple priorities
  • A collaborative, practical approach to problem solving
  • Commercial awareness and experience working with suppliers
  • Confidence working with senior stakeholders and governance groups
  • A PRINCE2, AgilePM or equivalent qualification would be useful, but relevant experience and a proven delivery record are what really matter.
